Romania
Professor, methodologist, trainer, evaluator, training program developer, coach, team coordinator, and project initiator, Mirela Ștețco has often found herself at the intersection of worlds: she has worked both with adults and with students, with people from within and outside the education system; she has taken on both operational roles and management positions; she has contributed both to the co-creation and to the implementation of innovative solutions, and she has explored models of good practice both in Romania and in partner countries within the Teach for All network.
After more than 40 years in education and a short but intense experience in advocacy, she is convinced that the future of education will be about communities and about our ability to come together honestly, in order to build an educational ecosystem capable of protecting and supporting the integral development of every child.
The workshop she proposes is both an invitation to (re)discover oneself and reflect in the context of the new teacher profile, as well as a plea for vertical development—an authentic driver of performance for each of us.
We are convinced that in this way we can spark a much-needed conversation about how the teaching profession could be reimagined.
